The heart may become uncomfortable with falsity and militate for
the truth, but the truth is rational, logical and reasonable and is apprehended
by the mind, NOT the heart. When it is so apprehended, it is AFFIRMED by the

The Style and Approach of Yeshua
A look at the issue
Can we see that Yeshua, in his teachings, admonitions, parables and
conversations, generally left room for volition to be involved in coming to
a greater truth? Can we see that he did NOT come to treat us as
Can we not see that Yeshua's approach in teaching and sharing with different
spiritual categories of people had the following sensible and appropriate range?
- Intense engagement on higher issues, as per Nicodemus and some of
the disciples at times.
- The focus was on demonstrating principles, and never on giving laws.
- Confronting hypocrisy directly, privately and publicly when
- Dismissing multitudes as being incapable to deal with the truth, and
teaching them in parables so that "they will hear, and not understand."
- Not even trying to reach them.
At no time is it ever recorded that he sat down and tried to deliver an
in-depth analysis of the history of the earth, or the universe and how it is
structured physically and spiritually. Not even close to the level that is
attempted by the IFISEEU site.[*]
Contrast of approach then
The site author is not Yeshua, does not have the same mandate, nor is
called to play the same role with the same level of empowerment. The site
author has one great advantage in terms of delivering truth to foster unity,
and that is that he can point to the J-person's life, words and deeds, while
the J-person was on his own in that regard. YET, he could do miracles, and
probably did them to excess out of mercy, and apparently they got in the way somewhat.
The people focused on these partial problem solutions, and didn't look
Yeshua's mission was to demonstrate that the character of the Originator–his own–was unassailable; the site author is under no such requirement. He
had daily converse with the unfallen and direct access to crucial knowledge
that is part of the truth, while the site author has had to study, ponder,
try to dialogue using reason with others, make mistakes and learn from them, struggle, suffer,
and reiterate a thousand times over the course of 40 years, always reaching, reaching, reaching! There
were MANY nights of darkness followed by many dawnings of insight.
The bottom line is that Yeshua was prepared to GO ALL THE WAY in his
demonstration, and he did.
Ways Yeshua related to people
1. Sought some particular people out:
a. John the Baptist
c. Samaritan woman
2. Attracted close followers:
a. Close disciples along with some women
b. Close friends: Mary, Martha and Lazarus
3. Attracted casual followers:
a. Many unknown people followed him, probably when he was in their district.
b. Attracted large crowds
c. Attracted insurrectionists wanting to use him to help overthrow Rome
d. Engendered a large contingent that were convinced he was the Messiah,
king savior of Israel.
4. Had private conversations with:
b. Samaritan woman
5. Over the course of three years of public ministry he probably
healed a small but not insignificant percentage of the population:
a. Crowds followed him and sought him out to be healed
b. People brought friends and relatives to him to be healed
c. A centurion sought him out to heal his son
6. Alarmed the national leadership:
a. Alarmed the Pharisees because they understood at some point that
they were losing influence and religious control over the population
b. The Sadducees because they felt their privileged
accommodation with Rome was being threatened.
c. Won some converts in the leadership like Joseph and Nicodemus
7. Managed to escape confrontation with Roman authority until the
Jewish leadership forced the issue.
What is above are the facts and information about the way Yeshua related, but
not the "why". Let's look "under the hood" and see if we can understand why.
Yeshua's own sayings, his detailed knowledge of Scripture, and the
fact that he
was addressed as "Rabbi," all show him to have been
- Hyam Maccoby, Revolution in Judea, Chapter 10
Yeshua knew that humans are not born as thinkers, choosers or deciders but as perceivers. He knew that we are born as "Homo
Sapiens" that can be cultured into Human Beings. He knew that partially because of their limited
lifespan but mostly because their intellectual, spiritual environment of
family and educational system did not concentrate on
critical thinking but upon religious indoctrination. Most did
not even have a chance to progress from being primarily just willful perceivers to being in control
of themselves. You can't blame a person for what they don't have or have not
been given. His problem with them was more
fundamental, and was with their almost complete lack of judgment and critical
thinking in evaluating their own belief system, their inability to see that their behavior was inconsistent not
only with humaneness and common sense, but even with basic tenets of their own sacred writings.
Human beings are largely at the mercy of their parents, schools and society
for character development as they are growing into adulthood. Various of our
multifarious facets get cultured or not, as the case may be, and the chances
are slim that the critical thinking faculty gets very well developed. Thus,
most remain just being perceivers and victims of habits. See
Human Volition and
This is why Yeshua had such compassion for the people all the while he knew
he couldn't trust them, especially with very much truth. Not only were they
fastened on throwing off the yoke of Rome through a Messiah, but were avidly
wanting this Messiah King to come and restore their land into a glorious and
powerful earthly kingdom. Thus he didn't expect that large numbers of the
general population would understand and appreciate his message. This partly explains why he avoided large
followings and then when necessary taught them with parables so that "they
would hear and not understand". This is why late in his time on earth he
said, "When the son of Man passes, will he find faith on the earth?
Was Yeshua looking for a "few good men?" Men that would self-select
themselves to be his close fellow spiritual revolutionaries to start a seed
crystal for the kingship of the heavens? Alas, he garnered only two,
these too slow, too little and too late in coming into
understanding to help him inaugurate a truly spiritual restoration at that
time without going to the alternate plan of his crucifixion? Was this why,
late in his time on earth, he said, "When the Son of Man passes, will he find
faith on the earth? Evidently not!"
Yet, Yeshua DID cross paths with decent men, like most of his followers, like Zaccheus, the woman at the well, Nicodemus, the Roman Centurion, the
Samaritan woman healed by her touch of his garment, members of his own
family, Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, et al; but there is no indication
that they were available to move to the next level of belief and truly
understand the Creator as being a human through the demonstration of Yeshua. No, the human race was evidently not available to wake up and deal with the
real issues without a raw, stark, dramatic, violent, agonizing, gruesome,
false-hope-dashing yet eminently elegant and ultimately effective
demonstration of the character of God, the great apocalypse of the crucifixion and

issues–most of which Yeshua did not remark on–in order to paint the big
picture and show how it is all compatible and integrated. Plus, perforce of course, the
requirement is unity on EVERYTHING THAT MATTERS!
