Note: {pl} indicates plural. Italics indicate John's personal commentary, not his literal witness.

John 1:9-13  He <LOGOS> was the true light which enlightens every man coming into the world.  He was in the universe, and the universe was made through him, yet the universe knew him not.  He came into his own place, yet his own people did not receive him.  But for all who received him, who believed in his authority, he authorized to become children of God; who became so, not by bloodlines nor being born of flesh nor of the will of man, [1] but by the REASONED EXPRESSION of God.

John 8:31-47  Jesus then said to the Jews having chosen to believe within him, "If you{pl} stay within my teaching, you{pl} are truly my disciples, and you{pl} will understand the truth, and the truth will set you{pl} free."  They answered him, "We are descendants of Abraham, and have been enslaved to no one.  Never!  Why do you say, 'You{pl} will be set free'?"
Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you{pl}, every one sinning is a slave to sin.  The slave does not stay in the dwelling place for this age; the son stays for this age.  So if the Son makes you{pl} free, you{pl} are really free indeed.  I know that you{pl} are descendants of Abraham; yet you{pl} seek to kill me, because my meaning finds no place in you{pl} [2].  I speak of what I have understood with my Father, and you{pl} do what you{pl} have understood from your father.
They answered him, "Abraham is our father."  Jesus says to them, "If you{pl} were Abraham's children, you{pl} would do the type of works Abraham did.  But now you{pl} seek to kill me, a man who has spoken to you{pl} the truth which I heard from God; this is not what Abraham did.  You{pl} do what your father did."  They said to him, "We were not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God."
Then Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you{pl} would love me, for I went forth and have come from God; I came not from myself but the one that sent me.  Why do you{pl} not understand what I say?  It is because you{pl} cannot hear the meaning of my words.  You{pl} are of your father the divider, and your way is to do your father's wrong desires.  That one was a killer from the beginning, and has not stood within the truth, because there is no truth in him.  When he speaks the lie, he speaks out of his own ideas, for he is a liar and the father of it.  But, because I now tell the truth, you{pl} do not choose to believe me.  Which of you{pl} convicts me of being wrong?  If I tell the truth, why do you{pl} not believe me?  He who is for God understands the words of God; the reason why you{pl} do not understand them is that you{pl} are not for God."

John 11:49-52  Caiaphas, who was high priest that year, said to them, "You{pl} understand nothing at all; nor do you{pl} consider that it is expedient for us that one man die, for the people, and not have the whole nation perish."  But he did not say this from himself, but being high priest that year he prophesied that Jesus was about to die for the nation, and not for the nation only, but that he also might gather into one the children of God having been scattered.

John 13:31-35  When he went, Jesus says, "Now appears the Son of man, and in him God appears; if God appears in him, God will both appear in him as himself, and honor him at once.[3]  Children, I am with you{pl} a little more.  You{pl} will seek me; and as I said to the Jews <Zionists> I now say also to you{pl}, 'Where I go you{pl} are not able to come.'  A new directive I give to you{pl}, that you{pl} love one another as I loved you{pl}, that way you{pl} also should love one another.  By this will all men know that you{pl} are my disciples, if you{pl} have love for one another."

John 21:1-14  After these things Jesus revealed himself again to the disciples by the Sea of Tiberias.  He revealed himself like this.  Simon Peter, Thomas being called Twin, Nathanael from Cana in Galilee, those of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples were together.  Simon Peter says to them, "I am going out to fish."  They say to him, "We are coming with you also."  They immediately went and got into the boat.  Yet that night they caught nothing.
Now with it becoming early in the morning, Jesus stood on the shore; however the disciples did not know that it was Jesus.  Then Jesus says to them, "Children, have you{pl} any thing for eating?"  They answered him, "No."  He said to them, "Cast the net to the right of the boat, and you{pl} will find."  So they cast, and then no longer had the strength to haul it in with the quantity of fish.  That disciple whom Jesus kept on loving says to Peter, "It is the Master!"  Simon Peter, upon hearing that it was the Master, after putting on his coat because he was naked, threw himself into the sea.  But the other disciples came in the little boat, dragging the net of fish, for they were not far from the land, about a hundred yards.
When they went up on the shore, they saw a fish lying on a fire of coals, and bread.  Jesus says to them, "Bring from the little fish that you{pl} have just caught."  So Simon Peter went over and dragged the net onto the shore, full with a hundred and fifty‑three huge fish.  Yet being so many, the net was not torn.
Jesus says to them, "Come, have breakfast."  Not one of the disciples ventured to ask him, "Who are you?", knowing it is the Master.  Then Jesus comes and takes the bread and gives it to them, and likewise the little fish.  This is now three times Jesus was revealed to the disciples, having been raised from the dead.

Matthew 11:16-19  Lk 7:31-35  And the Master said, "To what shall I compare this generation?  It is likened to children sitting in markets and calling to their playmates, 'We piped to you{pl}, and you{pl} did not dance; we mourned to you{pl}, and you{pl} did not wail.'  For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, 'He has a demon'.  The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Behold, a gluttonous man and a wine drinker, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!'  Yet wisdom is justified by her children, her deeds."

Matthew 15:21-28  Mk 7:24-30  And going away from there, Jesus withdrew to the area of Tyre and Sidon.  Entering the house, he desired no one to know, but he could not be hidden.  And behold, a Canaanite woman from that area coming forth cried out to him, "Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is seriously demon-possessed."  The woman was a Greek, a Syrophoenician by race, and she fell at his feet.  But he did not answer her a word.
Coming near, his disciples requested of him, saying, "Send her away, for she cries out after us."  However, he responding said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel", but she coming, worshipped him, saying, "Lord, help me."  But he answering said, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs."  But she said, "Yes, Lord, yet even the dogs eat from the crumbs falling from their masters' table."  Then Jesus responding said to her, "O woman, great is your faith!  Because of this expression, go, and let it be for you as you desire.  The demon has gone out from your daughter."  And her daughter was healed at that hour.  And going away to her home, she found that the demon had gone out, and the daughter was laid on the couch.

Mark 9:33-37  Mt 18:1-4  Lk 9:46-48  And they came to Capernaum; and having come into the house he asked them, "What were you{pl} arguing about with yourselves on the way?"  But they were each one silent; for they argued who was the greater on the way.  Upon sitting down, he called the twelve and says to them, "If any one wants to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all."
And taking a child, he put him in the midst of them; and having embraced him, he said to them, "Whoever receives one such child in my authority receives me; and whoever receives me, receives not me but the one having sent me; for the one being the lesser among you{pl} all shall be great.  Truly, I say to you{pl}, unless you{pl} convert and become as the children, you{pl} cannot enter into the kingship of the heavens.  Whoever then will humble himself as this child, this one is the greater in the kingship of the heavens."

Mark 9:38-42  Mt 18:5,6  Lk 17:1,2  John replied to him, saying, "Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons by your authority, and we forbade him, because he does not follow us."  But Jesus said, "Do not forbid him; for there is no one who shall do a mighty work by my authority and be able soon to speak evil of me.  For who is not against us is for us.  For truly, I say to you{pl}, whoever gives you{pl} a cup of water to drink in my authority, because you{pl} are of Christ, in no way will he lose his reward.  Whoever receives one such child in my authority receives me.
"Woe to the world for causing sin!  It is necessity for temptations to come, but woe to that man by whom the stumbles come!  Whoever causes one of these little ones to stumble, those believing in me, it is gain for him that an ass's millstone be hung round his neck and he be sunk into the depth of the sea."

Matthew 7:7-12  Lk 11:9-13  "And I say to you{pl}, ask, and it will be given you{pl}; seek, and you{pl} will find; knock, and it will be opened to you{pl}.  For each one asking receives, and he seeking finds, and it will be opened to the one knocking.  Or what man of you{pl}, if his son should ask him for bread, will instead give him a stone?  Or if he should ask for a fish, will give him a snake?  Or if he should ask for an egg, will give him a scorpion?  If you{pl} then, being miserable, know good gifts to give to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those asking him?  How much more will the heavenly Father give the Awesome Spirit to those asking him?!  So whatever you desire that men would do to you{pl}, do also to them; for this is the Law and the Prophets."[4]

Luke 13:34,35  Mt 23:37-39  "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those having been sent to you!  How often I desired to gather your children together in the way a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you wanted not!  Behold, your house is left to you desolate.  And truly I tell you that in no way will you see me until it comes about when you say,

'Blessed the one coming in the name of the Master!'"

Luke 14:25-33  Many crowds came together with him; and turning he said to them, "If any one comes to me and does not disregard his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and besides, even his own psyche, he cannot be my disciple.  Whoever does not pull up his tethering stake and follow after me, he cannot be my disciple [5].

Mark 10:13-16  Mt 19:13-15  Lk 18:15-17  And they brought children and infants to him, that he might lay his hands on them and pray; and the disciples rebuked the ones carrying them.  But upon seeing this, Jesus was indignant, and he said to them, "Let the children come to me, don't forbid them; for of such as these is the kingship of God.  Truly, I say to you{pl}, whoever does not receive the kingship of God like a child in no way may enter into it."  And having taken them in his arms and having laid hands upon them, he blessed them.

Mark 10:23-31  Mt 19:23-30  Lk 18:24-30  And Jesus, having become very grieved and looking around, says to his disciples, "Truly I tell you{pl} that a rich man will enter into the kingship of the heavens with difficulty!"  And the disciples were amazed at his words.  But Jesus responding says to them again, "Children, how hard it is for those trusting in riches to enter the kingship of God!  It is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of the needle than for a rich man to enter the kingship of God."
But they were exceedingly astonished, and said to themselves, "Then who can be saved?"  However, Jesus looking at them says, "From men it is impossible, but not from God; for all things are possible from God."  Peter began to say to him, "Behold, we forsook all and have followed you.  What then shall be to us?"
Responding Jesus said, "Truly, I tell you{pl} that those having followed me, in the regeneration when the son of man sits on his glorious seat of power, [6] will also sit on twelve seats of power, separating the twelve tribes of Israel.  And there is no one who forsook houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or fields, on account of my authority and the gospel, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time, houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions, and in the coming age [7] life of all ages.  But many first will be last, and the last first."

Luke 19:41-44  As he drew near, seeing the city, he wept over it, saying, "If you only knew, even you, at least even in this your day, the things for your peace, but now are hidden from your eyes!  For the days will come upon you, and your enemies will raise up a rampart about you and will surround you, and will keep you in on all sides, and raze you and your children within you, and will not leave in you stone upon stone, because you did not know the time of your visitation."

Matthew 21:12-17  Mk 11:15-19  Lk 19:45-48  And they came to Jerusalem and Jesus entered the temple of God and threw out all those selling and buying in the temple.  And he overturned the tables of the money‑changers and the seats of those selling doves; and he did not allow anyone to carry containers through the temple.  He taught, saying to them, "Has it not been written,

'My house shall be called a house of prayer for all the nations'? But you{pl} have made it a den of robbers."

And the blind and the lame came near to him in the temple, and he healed[8] them.
But the chief priests and the theologians, seeing the wonderful things that he did and the children crying out in the temple, "Hosanna, Son of David!", were indignant and said to him, "Do you hear what these say?"  And Jesus said to them, "Yes; did you{pl} never read,

'Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings you have perfected praise'?"

And the chief priests and the theologians heard and sought how they might destroy him; for they feared him, because all the multitude was astonished at his teaching.  And leaving them when evening came, he went out of the city to Bethany and lodged there.

Matthew 24:9-14  Mk 13:12,13  Lk 21:16-19  "And then many will stumble, and betray one another, and hate one another.  And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.  And because wickedness is multiplied, most men's love will grow cold.  And brother will deliver up brother for death, and the father his child, and children will rise against parents and have them put up for death; and you{pl} will be hated by all on account of me.  But in no way will a hair of your head perish[9].  By your patience you{pl} will retain your souls.  And this gospel of the kingship will be preached throughout the inhabited world, as a testimony to all nations; and then the end will come."

Matthew 5:  "Blessed are those males supporting (causing) unity, because<for at the time> of these males they all shall be called sons of God.

Luke 6:27-36  Mt 5:43-48  "You{pl} heard that it was said,

'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.'

But I say to those hearing, Love your enemies, bless those cursing you{pl}, do good to those hating you{pl}, pray on behalf of those abusing you{pl} and insulting you{pl}, so that you{pl} may be sons of your Father in the heavens; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust.  To those striking you{pl} on the cheek, turn also the other; and from those taking away your coat do not withhold your tunic.  Share with every one asking you{pl}, and do not ask back from those taking away your goods.  And as you{pl} wish that men may do to you{pl}, you{pl} also do to them likewise.
"If you{pl} love those loving you{pl}, what credit is that to you{pl}?  Do not even the tax collectors practice the same?  For even sinners love those loving them.  And if you{pl} do good to those doing good to you{pl}, what thanks is there to you{pl}?  For even sinners do the same.  And if you{pl} lend to those from whom you{pl} hope to receive, what thanks is there to you{pl}?  Even sinners lend to sinners, that they may receive the same again.  And if you{pl} hail only your brethren, what is exceptional about you{pl}?  Do not even the tax collectors do the same?  But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, despairing nothing; and your reward will be great, and you{pl} will be sons of the Most High, for he is kind to the ungrateful and the selfish.  Then be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.  You{pl} then, also be mature as your heavenly Father is mature."

Luke 7:-10  Mt 8:-13  Hearing these things Jesus marveled at him, and turning to the crowd following him, said, "I tell you{pl}, not even in Israel did I find such faith.  I tell you{pl}, many will come from east and west and will be with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingship of the heavens.  But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."  And to the centurion Jesus said, "Go; since you believed, let it be done for you."  And the son was healed in that hour.  Returning, those sent to the house found the son well.

[1].  This is to say, not by right of genes nor inheritance nor by any formal rite of certification.

[2].  Their core self or internal reference point of idealism was crusted over with their false concepts and beliefs so that the truth or true meaning of Jesus couldn't penetrate, stay or inspire.

[3].  Jesus is talking about how the true character and values of God would be showcased in and by him with his crucifixion.

[4].  This is one aspect of the true meaning of the Old Testament canon, and we can see how badly they misinterpreted and misunderstood.

[5].  Again Jesus here is speaking about a man hating his father's religion or philosophy or way of life, and hating his own self-identity based on his earthly father and external, worldly things; certainly not hating the person or his true self-identity.  Pulling up your stake means cutting loose from the old religion and inculcating the concepts and values of Jesus.

[6].  This is a reference to the great spiritual regeneration that begins when Jesus 'sits on his glorious seat of power', that is, hangs on the cross.

[7].  The coming age started at the cross and resurrection, and is the age in which we now live.

[8].  Served.

[9].  This promise is in keeping with the good news and applies to believers such as John and Thomas who eventually chose to believe the message of Jesus.
